Luxuriously nestled in the beautiful Sagres area of Portugal’s unspoilt western Algarve coast, the luxury, child friendly Martinhal is a sanctuary for new parents, young families, families with older children or a fabulous place for a mulit-generational holiday. Rooms

Beach Rooms (in the Hotel Martinhal)
Maximum occupancy: 2 persons + one infant under two sleeping in a cot (there is no separate sleeping area for the baby).

Arranged in clusters of four close to the beach, the Beach Rooms are just a short walk from the main building. Positioned to take full advantage of an outstanding coastal panorama, these rooms open onto private balconies or terraces where glorious ocean views and sunsets can be fully appreciated.

Beach Suites (in the Hotel Martinhal)
Maximum occupancy: 2 persons + one infant under two sleeping in a cot.

Positioned overlooking the ocean, the Beach Suites incorporate loft-style double height living spaces, with the open-plan bedroom situated on the mezzanine level. Outside, a private veranda has been carefully orientated to take advantage of the setting sun. Floor space is deceptively generous, and the enormous floor-to-ceiling bay windows greatly enhance the sense of proportion. A private ground floor terrace (fitted out with two chairs and two sunbeds) extends onto a modest lawn. The Beach Suites can also interconnect with the adjacent Beach Room, which is perfect for families – so for a family of 2 adults and more than two children, this would be a good combination.
