For Kids

  • There is a superb KidsOnly programme is specially designed for younger members of the family with fully-supervised, age-appropriate activities for children ages four to eleven years old.
  • Two dedicated children’s centres– one in The Palace, the other at Arabian Court – are open every day of the week. Here, children can engage in programmes of fun and adventure, leaving parents to enjoy quieter moments of solitude. This is a complimentary club for children ages four to 11. A full programme of entertainment and activities is offered daily from 10am to12.30pm, from 2.30pm to 5pm and again from 6pm to 10pm, with children typically joining their parents for meals.
  • Activities might include: camel riding, henna painting, belly dancing, sand sculpturing, evening Arabian camping and more. Little ones learn basic Arabic phrases during fun, interactive lessons.
  • Children under four are welcome to participate in activities for the younger set, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Such services can be arranged through the resort for a fee.
  • There are recommended dining options for families with restaurants geared up for kids and family dining times.

  • Try out the traditional Hammam, an 'oasis of retreat' from daily stresses, entering the Hammam is akin to a journey: winding corridors turn this way and that, dramatic archways entice you on; until, suddenly, one enters the heart of Hammam, a haven of space, warmth and comfort.
  • If you need it whilst on holiday the resort has a beauty salon. Within the resort’s Health & Beauty Institute, guests may enjoy hair care and styling, as well as pampering nail care.
  • Or is you need some hair care whilst away Zouari Hair Salon is open for colour, cuts and styling.If you want to keep up your exercise routine whilst away the Fitness Studio with Technogym® Cardio equipment and Ayurvedic inspired treatments is available at The Palace. Superior Executive Suites are located within the south wing of the resort, this latest suite accommodation reflects contemporary, chic elegance with an Arabian twist. 100m2 of spacious facilities include a dedicated comfortable lounge and dining area with wet bar and espresso machine, plus generous oversized bathroom with in-bathroom LCD television and separate guest restroom. The Superior Gold Club Rooms are sea facing overlooking the landscape garden with private balcony or patio. This room has the same design as the Deluxe Room but offers a private entrance. Guest have access to the Gold Club private lounge and reception area on the third floor. The Rotisserie 
This all-day dining room boasts an intimate courtyard terrace and open veranda that overlook the resort’s gardens and fountains. An impressive show kitchen evokes a bygone era, with high vaulted ceilings, voluminous copper chimneys, enamelled cast-iron ovens and large wooden tables. Guests interact with chefs who prepare cuisine based on traditional recipes from Europe. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Nina
Nina is a colourful Indo-European dining venue. Descend the staircase and enter a vibrant, lively setting with an alluring sense of discovery. Flickering candles, curtain beads and contemporary music set the scene for an evening at Nina, the mistress of spice. The food enlivens the palate, with a strength of flavour and seductive aromas that create a journey of exploration. Open for dinner only.

Eauzone
Bathed by the blue of the sky and sea, Eauzone is a place to contemplate the rhythm of ocean tides and the setting sun. On the beach surrounded by palm trees, Eauzone features shaded wooden decks and floating ‘Majlis’ – an Arabic word for a room in a private home used to entertain guests – overlooking the Arabian Gulf and translucent pool. The ambience is casual by day and stylish after sunset. Once night descends it evokes intimacy in a slick, refined restaurant complemented by modern food with an Asian twist. Open for lunch and dinner.

Olives
Olives is The Palace’s casual all-day dining restaurant. A sky-blue ceiling adds a sense of drama to this refreshing venue, with African slate floors, towering shrubbery and whitewashed stucco walls. Stained glass, wrought iron chandeliers, and colourful crockery add vibrancy. Marble-topped tables and cane chairs give the bougainvillea-covered terrace overlooking the palm-shaded pool a Riviera coastal cafe feel. 

Tagine
Truly Moroccan, the ambiance of Tagine provides diners with more than just a taste of this mysterious land. The tobacco-coloured walls have been hand polished and wax plastered in the Moroccan tradition of Tadlekt. Lanterns, rugs and artefacts have been specially procured from around the region and adorn the restaurant’s series of moody rooms, arches and alcoves, creating an ambience akin to an old home in Marrakesh. Children must be over the age of 8 to dine here. 

Celebrities
A grand staircase leads into Celebrities, The Palace’s speciality restaurant for international cuisine. A wall fountain trickles over hand-painted tiles creating an elegant atmosphere. This is further enhanced by romantic lighting and a multi-level interior that overlooks lushly landscaped gardens. The interior colours echo those of the manicured lawns and foliage and varied hues of the sea. A truly romantic dining venue for special occasions. Children over 8 years old are welcome at this restaurant. 

Beach Bar and Grill
Overlooking Palm Island, and poised between lush gardens and golden sand, the Beach Bar & Grill is a refreshing experience. Affectionately called "The Beach" by resort staff, the mood by day is informal on the shaded terrace where guests enjoy impressive platters of freshly grilled seafood and bright salads. By night, "The Beach" dresses up with flickering candles and a warm glow as chefs serve lobster, tiger prawns, mixed kebabs and prime steaks.

The Dining Room
The Dining Room offers an atrium setting with comfortable intimacy and personalized attention that is discreetly present whilst always volunteered. Featuring residential cuisine that is crafted from the freshest ingredients, The Dining Room features elegant wicker furnishings, floral patterns and the abundance of light promising a charming and stylish dining experience.

Top Tips

Dubai is undoubtedly a tolerant and cosmopolitan city, however, all visiting guests should be aware of the importance of the Emirates cultural sensitivity, while on excursions or touring shopping malls, proper dress code and behavior be in respect of local culture.

Dubai has now joined the growing number of international cities in promoting a smoke-free environment. New regulations from the Dubai Government prohibit smoking in all indoor areas, including bars, restaurants and lounges.

The power supply in Dubai operates at 220 volts; adaptors are available - converters are not.
