Tiger’s Nest is a luxury, contemporary, child friendly, alpine lodge situated at 1600m in the east of Les 4 Vallées, Switzerland's most extensive ski area with many popular ski lifts just a few minutes away. This fully-staffed retreat offers access to some of Europe's best skiing, as well as being an idyllic summer base for sightseeing, hiking, mountain biking, shopping, golf, tennis and other pursuits.
Named after Bhutan's iconic Tiger's Nest Temple, the four-storey lodge is designed to offer guests a tranquil mountain escape in elegant surroundings with dramatic 270° views of the Pennine Alps, including the famous Dent Blanche and Matterhorn peaks.
Time at Tiger's Nest is designed to be highly tailored. There is a dedicated on-the-ground team – including a host, chef and driver – to offer guests fabulous service, superb food and wine, as well as those little touches that make a stay so relaxing and memorable.

Built in 2012, Tiger’s Nest sits on three levels with a basement. The house is furnished throughout in a luxurious East meets West contemporary style in collaboration with one of Scotland's finest interior designers, Gilly Corkery.
With five double bedrooms, Tiger's Nest is perfectly suited for two families, travelling with or without a nanny, or up to 10 adults.
The dramatic basement and entrance area – perfect for sipping hot chocolate after a hard day on the slopes, or fresh lemonade after a challenging set of tennis.
On the ground floor, there are three ensuite double bedrooms (two of which can be converted into twins), with a further double bedroom and separate bathroom. Each of these rooms feature beautiful French and Asian finishings, and luxurious beds.
The first floor of the house comprises a beautiful sitting room and dining room with panoramic views, a kitchen and a small study area. There are lovely gardens around the house, a breakfast terrace and main terrace with a fire pit for those cool summer evenings, or for champagne in the snow. There is also a separate outdoor yoga deck cut into the mountain slope for those wishing to practice yoga, Pilates or simply stretch or exercise standing on top of the world.
The master suite is located on the entire top floor of the house, and has spectacular views of the Matterhorn range of mountains. The suite features a romantic free-standing bed and a spectacular bathtub for two, a walk-in-wardrobe, and sitting and television area.

Your dining experience is designed to be one of the delights and highlights of your stay at Tiger’s Nest. Ingredients, menus and dietary requirements can be agreed in advance of your stay, or you can ask for the chalet chef to surprise you. With a focus on local produce, the food served is Swiss, international and Asian cuisine and the experience can be as formal or relaxed as you wish. The chalet also specialise in healthy menus.
The wine list boasts local vineyard selections, as well as wines from France, Italy and the New World.
Les 4 Vallées has more to offer the winter sports enthusiast than just downhill skiing and snowboarding. You can try snowshoe walking (raquette), husky riding, tobogganing or cross-country skiing, all of which can be arranged by the Tiger's Nest team.
Skiing & Snow Boarding
For ski and snow boarding enthusiasts, the area offers superb and reliable snow conditions with all resorts over 1600m and six popular ski lifts within a few minutes drive of the house. Skiers can also easily access other parts of Les 4 Vallées – Nendaz, La Tzoumaz and Verbier. Further afield in the Valais region are nine resorts that reach over 3000m, including Arolla, Crans-Montana, Saas-Fee and Zermatt.
A single ski pass allows you access to the slopes of Thyon, Veysonnaz, Verbier, Nendaz, La Tzoumaz and Verbier. Individual passes are also available for those keen to stay closer to home. With so much variety, the resort is perfect for skiers and snowboarders, beginners and experts. Two heliports also cater for heli-skiing.
While Sion (20-minutes from Tiger's Nest) offers guests good shopping options, there are fabulous boutique and designer stores in the resorts of Crans-Montana (55 minutes), Verbier (60 minutes) and Zermatt (80 minutes).
Choose from a wide selection of Blu-ray discs and DVDs for children and adults. These can be watched on the four high definition televisions in the bedrooms or on the chalet's portable Blu-ray player. Additional movies and TV shows are also available on the house iPad.
The house is stocked with a wide range of board games and playing cards. There is also have Wii. For the summer months the chalet has access to two tennis courts 5-minutes from the chalet. In addition there is badminton, pétanque and Kubb.

Tiger's Nest is less than 2 hours by car from Geneva airport, and 3 hours from Zurich and Milan's Malpensa airports. A highly efficient direct train service also connects Sion to Geneva Airport. The journey takes approximately 2 hours.
