How do you pick a Luxury and Little Ones hotel?

A hotel has to genuinely treat the whole family as equal guests and thought of the little things you as parents need to make your holiday special to make it into the Luxury and Little Ones portfolio. We are constantly adding hotels so keep coming back to check out our new ones. 

How do I find a place to stay?

If you know where you want to go, you can search by destination, or by hotel if you know its name. If you don't know either of these, you can use our advanced search, which combines various criteria specific to booking a hotel with children in tow.

How does the booking process work?

Make an enquiry using the ‘Make Booking Request’ link on the hotel page or email us at info@luxuryandlittleones.com or call us on 0845 900 3870

If the property is in the UK or is a ski chalet once we receive the email we will contact the hotel and provide you with a quote. This will be the same price as if you contact them directly. Once you confirm you would like to book the stay we will deal with the booking process for you. The hotel or chalet will email you for confirmation of your credit card details to secure the booking. You will need to pay the hotel or chalet directly based on their terms and conditions and any deposit or provide then with credit card details to guarantee your stay. Once confirmed, print out your booking confirmation from the hotel, which will also entitle you to your Luxury and Little Ones extra.

If the property is abroad (other than a ski chalet) we provide a package holiday and will provide a quote for both the hotel, flight and transfers. Your holiday will be fully ATOL and ABTA bonded.

What is the payment and cancellation policy?

We always follow the hotels’ own cancellation and payment policies. 

How do I get my Luxury and Little Ones Extra?

If you book through Luxury and Little Ones this will be waiting for you at the hotel. If not please just show your confirmation e-mail at the time of check-in

Do you get any last-minute offers?

Yes, we publish a selection of special offers which the hotel will have on at the time. Please look on the hotel page for more details.

Is Luxury and Little Ones exclusively for members?

No, anyone can browse our website. 

Why should I sign up to the Luxlist?

All members of the Luxlist are eligible for Luxury and Little Ones extras at any hotel they book through us. We will e-mail you a newsletter every month so you can keep up to date with hotels we have added and any special offers. Sometimes we will e-mail these to our members before we display them on the website! 

How do I register to become a member?

Membership is completely free. Please click the "Join the Luxlist" on our home page. Joining will also give you the option to receive our monthly newsletters, follow us on twitter, like us on Facebook and be linked to our Blog.

Would I not get a better rate going directly to the hotel?

We have an agreement with the hotel that they will guarantee us rate parity. So you will not get a better price for an identical product, booked at the same time, by contacting the hotel / owner / provider directly.

How come it's not cheaper booking directly with the hotel?

Our small commission is taken from that price, not added to it. You also get the Luxury and Little Ones extra (if applicable) booking through us.

Will I get an instant response to my enquiry?

No but you will get an e-mail back generally within 24 hours of your request. Usually it is much, much quicker than this. 

What forms of payment are accepted?

This will depend on the hotel. Normally it would be credit card details to guarantee the booking and then payment on check out but this information will be provided to you in your confirmation e-mail. If it is a package holiday booking a deposit will be required on booking and full payment within 8 weeks of the holiday. The deposit and final payment can be sent by bank transfer, paid by direct card or by credit card - but please note a fee is charged for credit card transactions.  

If I need to cancel my booking, do I have to pay a cancellation fee?

If you decide to cancel your reservation, you should notify us and the hotel as soon as possible. The amount of any cancellation charge/refund depends on the cancellation policy of the individual accommodation supplier, which is stated clearly at the time of making your booking. 

Can you arrange flights, transfers, car hire, insurance, etc. for me?

Yes - we can arrange flights, transfers and anything else you would like on your holiday whether that be book a tee time for golf or cabana on the beach (where applicable!). Please just ask and we will be happy to try and help. 

Can I book using the Luxury and Little ones website if I don’t live in the UK?

Yes. We can arrange flights and hotels from anywhere in the world. Please do just get in touch.
