Borgo Egnazia is a luxury child-friendly hotel perfect for family holidays in Italy. Located near the one of the most beautiful seas in the region, winner of the sails of Legambiente as featured in the prestigious Blue Guide 2011 and nestled amongst fields of olive trees. This is a luxury hotel where you can come and experience culture and relaxation in the knowledge that the whole family will have plenty to do and be kept entertained. Borgo Egnazia is a place for everybody. While parents enjoy some relaxing and intimate time, children find their oasis of fun.


For Kids

  • Borgo Egnazia looks after the children from eight months to thirteen years.
  • Families are offered countless activities to choose from and that’s why they choose to spend their holidays at Borgo Egnazia.
  • Borgo Egnazia’s Trullalleri kids club is supervised by professional staff and children are grouped by age to assure that both indoor and outdoor activities are organized according to every age group.

  • Do some retail therapy at the Borgo Egnazia Boutique where you will find clothing brands and local artistic expressions such as ceramics and wood sculptures. For smaller needs or to buy a magazine there is also a Minishop.

Borgo Egnazia is composed of three distinctive areas: La Corte, sophisticated and elegant; the Borgo, dynamic and with a lively attitude, and the Villas, classic and comfortable.


La Corte is in the main central building of Borgo Egnazia. The rooms are decorated in a blend between traditional Mediterranean style and contemporary design. 

Each room is equipped with a super king-size bed or two separate beds. The bathrooms are completely built in stone, all rooms have at least a balcony, terrace or private garden.
The balconies and terraces offer wonderful views over the Adriatic Sea or the millenary old olive groves and the Murge hills. 

La Corte Bella is roomy and comfortable with a private terrace or garden, equipped with table and chairs. Some La Corte Bella rooms have sea view and some can connect to another room of any category. Please ask on booking. These sleep two people. 

La Corte Splendida is more spacious, with living area and a private terrace or garden, equipped with table and chairs. Some La Corte Splendida rooms have sea view and some can connect to another room of any category except Suite Egnazia . These room can sleep 2 people and cot or extra bed available upon request (with an extra charge).

La Corte Magnifica are designed with two separate areas there is a bedroom and living room and a private terrace with table, chairs and in some cases also loungers. Some La Corte Magnifica rooms can connect to La Corte Bella or La Corte Splendida rooms. These can sleep 2 people and a cot or extra bed is available upon request (with an extra charge)

Suite Egnaziais Borgo Egnazia’s top suite, designed for the most demanding people. It is made up of three spacious rooms and two bathrooms. There is also a relaxation area with decorative stone fireplace. A living-room with a massive squared sofa and two very large private terraces with views over the olive groves and Adriatic Sea. There is in addition a private patio (“Arab garden”) with private pool, outdoor shower, dining table and chill-out zone. On request, the Suite Egnazia can connect to a La Corte Bella room. 


The Borgo, with its central Piazza, is the most unique part of the property and is where the Trullalleri Kids Club and the Fichi d’India Teens Club. During summer the Piazza hosts outdoor dinners and events, movie-screenings, street fairs and games (lasting until approximately 11 pm). The Borgo is characterised by a rustic-chic interior design.

All ground floor Borgo Splendida rooms have a private patio (“Arab garden”) with table, chairs and loungers. All Borgo Splendida rooms on the first floor, have balconies and roof terraces also with table, chair and loungers. These room categories sleep 2 people and a cot or extra bed available upon request (with an extra charge).

The Borgo Magnifica are designed with two separate areas, a bedroom and living room. All Borgo Magnifica rooms come with balconies and roof terraces with table, chairs and sunbeds. These sleep 2 people.

The Casettas are two-story townhouses, inspired by those of local villages and historic towns. All of Borgo Egnazia’s Casettas have a kitchenette with fridge microwave oven, electric kettle and Illy brand coffee machine, balconies and roof terrace, private patio (“Arab garden”) with table, chairs and loungers.
Casetta Bella on the ground floor has a living area kitchenette and on the first floor a bedroom. This can sleep 2 people with a cot or extra bed available upon request (with an extra charge). These are ideal for families with one child.

Casetta Splendida on the ground floor has a living area with kitchenette and an extra room which canbe used as studio or kids room with bunk beds. On the first floor is another bedroom. This can sleep 4 people and is ideal for families with one or two children.
Casetta Magnifica has a ground floor with living area and kitchenette and a walk-in closet ideal for pushchairs and luggage. On the first floor are two bedrooms. These can sleep 4 people and are ideal for a family of 4.


Villas are all furnished in a classic yet sophisticated and cool style. All Villas are on three levels, with 3 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, living room, family room, terrace, garden, patio and private pool. The family room is fully furnished with dining/gaming table, an honour bar and a comfortable living area with home-theatre system including DVD player.

All Villas have cable, Wi-Fi and TV internet connection and a safe deposit box located inside the main bedroom’s walk-in closet. All guests staying in the Borgo Egnazia’s Villas can enjoy the exclusive tailor-made services such as “Massaia in Villa” and “Chef in Villa”. 
As per all our types of accommodation, full breakfast at our restaurants is included in the room rate. During the months of July and August continental breakfast in Villa is also offered on a complimentary basis.

All Villas can sleep up to 6 people with the option of adding an extra bed for a maximum occupancy of 8 people.

Villa Giardino has a large garden, patio and private pool.

Villa Giardino Mediterraneo has a garden with gazebo, patio and private pool.

Villa Giardino Pugliese has a garden with gazebo, patio and private pool. The basement level opens up to a private courtyard and citrus garden through French doors in the family room.

Villa Splendida has a wonderful, large garden with patio, gazebo and private pool. The basement level opens up to a private courtyard and citrus garden through French doors in the family room.

Villa Magnifica is Borgo Egnazia’s most beautiful villa with gorgeous garden, patio, gazebo and huge private pool. The basement level opens up to a private courtyard and citrus garden through French doors in the family room or third bedroom. 

Room features



Due Camini is an à la carte Restaurant. Due Camini restaurant is only open to children by reservation during the slot of 7.30pm. 

La Frasca is comfortable and elegant and offers simple food often served buffet style, spiced-up by live cooking stations and outdoor barbeques. One of the gardens is dedicated to children where they can have dinner and fun, supervised by Borgo Egnazia’s children’s club staff.

Trattoria Mia Cucina offers the traditional such as pasta, cakes, pizza, etc. Guests can learn how to cook and discover our recipes and cooking secrets. In summer evenings guests can enjoy home-made traditional, local dishes prepared by our “Massaie” plus piazza and other oven baked products.

Da Puccetta is the children’s restaurant and offers a Mediterranean and healthy cuisine based on fresh vegetables and simple dishes. Trullalleri Kids club staff will help during meals. 



Considered one of the top golf courses in Italy, San Domenico Golf is an 18 hole championship course bordering the crystal azures of the Adriatic Sea. The course is spread over 6.300 metres of lush land featuring undulating bermuda grass with sea views from every vantage point.

At Borgo Egnazia you will find three tennis courts, one in natural grass. You can book individual and group lessons for children, juniors and adults, from beginners to tournament players. There is a free weekly tennis tournament and a Tennis kids camp in the summer months. You can borrow Wilson racket free of charge and the weekly group lessons for kids and adults are also free of charge.

Sail boat, Windsurf, Sup,Snorkeling, Canoeing, Wake Surf, Wake Boarding, Water Skiing , Banana boating, Tubing and Fishing.

Borgo Egnazia’s Cooking School offers a full immersion in the culinary art of the region. 

Cala Masciola
This beach can be reached in ten minutes by walking or by bicycle, is located inside the property and is characterized by the typical Apulian seaside low rock. 

La Fonte
Five minutes from Borgo Egnazia, La Fonte is the best beach for children: thin sand, clear sea water, toys, sunbeds, gazebos and a Bar for light lunches. 


Top Tips

If you have little ones not in school yet watch out for some amazing deals before it is peak season. The hotels also often has experience breaks during these seasons.
